Edge recently worked with OneCause on a survey of over 1,000 social donors–those who give through fundraising events, runs, walks, and rides, or online for challenges, occasions, or giving days. The study highlighted changes in who is giving and how much they give, what’s most important to donors when deciding to donate, and how virtual events compare to their in-person counterparts. While most donors are ready to get back to in-person, they value the convenience of virtual events, and many plan to engage with their organizations both in person and virtually moving forward.
